One day while Alexa was driving home from work, she took a detour through the small community of Guadalupe, Arizona. At a stoplight, she looked over and saw a young boy playing soccer alone in a dirt lot with an old tattered volleyball. She felt bad for him and wished there was something she could do right then to help. This inspired her to start a charitable organization that would help not just this one child, but as many children as possible. Remembering her own childhood hardships, living in a community where resources were limited, Alexa developed an even deeper passion and was now on a mission to help children. Alexa drove home and began working on Arizona Sports Angels.
